Bridges to Harmony - line-up finalised
Fitzroy Learning Network is super excited to announce the line-up for Bridges to Harmony Festival on March 24th. This freeevent will present an all-star line-up of Melbourne based performers including Tek Tek Ensemble, the Public Opinion 6, 1/6, Windari, Fadil Suna and Matt Stonehouse, and our very own Fitzroy Clubhouse rappers. MC and DJ Chris Gill of Northside Records will also be there spinning some cool sounds.
At Fitzroy Learning we believe that diversity and respect are fundamental to strong and inclusive societies. Right now, in our own country and across the world, multiculturalism and inter-racial harmony are being severely challenged. Our response to all those who seek to divide us is to throw a party to bring our community together to celebrate multiculturalism and to show the world a Fitzroy good-time.
So come and join Fitzroy Learning Network, Fitzroy Legal Service and Yarra Libraries in a multicultural festival of music and art to celebrate cultural diversity and social inclusion. Free music, great food, guest speakers and a Fitzroy welcome for all.

Bridges to Harmony - one hooked-up Fitzroy
Fitzroy Learning Network, Yarra Libraries and Fitzroy legal Service are partnering to plan and deliver a Fitzroy community festival, for Friday evening 24 March, 2017.
At a time when the politics of division and hate seem to have centre stage both here and overseas, we want those who who value multiculturalism to come and enjoy our diversity as a nation and as a neighbourhood.
Based at the Fitzroy Learning Network premises and the adjoining Condell Reserve, in Napier Street, Bridges to Harmony will bring a fun party atmosphere to the Fitzroy neighbourhood to promote social inclusion, human rights and share what is common across cultures. There’ll be live music. multicultural food, street art and guest speakers.
In the spirit of Cultural Diversity Week (18-26 March 2017) and The International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (21 March, 2017). We want all to feel welcome and re connect as one ‘hooked up’ Fitzroy neighbourhood.
In the lead-up to the event we are putting a call out to local organisations, businesses and groups who may want to be involved in and support the event Whether it be contributing a service, offloading some extra stock or volunteering some hours we would love you to be involved. Contact Jemal at
Fitzroy Learning Network on 9417 2897 or connect through our Facebook page
