WHAT TO BRING:
We provide all the materials for this class.
Please bring a container to take a meal home.
The cooking takes place in the kitchen at the Community Garden in Napier Street.
This gets the group thinking about what to cook with seasonal food and supplies already in your kitchen. It also includes menu planning, working to a budget, and recipe modification.
Participates will also learn technical and practical skills such as developing basic knife skills, food handling, food safety, hygiene practices and food presentation.
