The Feb Block Party - line up below - was postponed due to extreme weather. Stay tuned for the new date for this amazing line up.
TAPPET are a band of obscure people named after an obscure car part; a rock/metal band mostly, although they tend to do a bit of everything. The band consists of Brodie Naylor on guitar, Ruby Sirianni with vocals, Samuel Haebich on drums and Julius Daniel on bass. After many other projects the band grabbed the opportunity to work together and evolve into an awesome, loud, and sometimes a little stupid band Tappet!
THE GABE COLEMAN TRIO (members: Gabe Coleman on keys, Dominic Carpenter on bass and James Sullivan-Macintosh on drums) met at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School in year 8 where they were all studying music. They instantly became friends through sharing a love of jazz and music all round. They are now starting year 12 at VCASS together and are excited to be performing at the Fitzroy Block Party with originals to premier.
THE NANCYS came together through a shared love of all things acoustic, rock, punk and vocal, via the YoWo music program in 2022. Featuring vocal harmonies from all four members, the Nancys also feature Clare on keys, Soleil on guitar and Edie on bass, with rocking lead vocals by Rauri. They have performed a collection of original and re-interpreted material at the Wesley Anne Northcote, The Colour Club and the SoundBox/Always Live Vic Arts Centre and are pumped to be debuting new work at the Fitzroy Block Party.
MANSPLAINERS are an indie rock band based in Naarm. It’s members are inner city high school students who draw inspiration from artists such as Merpire, Carla Geneve and Wet Leg. Having performed everywhere from street christmas parties to Fed Square, Mansplainers are pumped to share their music with you.
