Volunteers are the heart and soul of Fitzroy Learning Network. The services and programs we offer to our community would not survive without the support of our volunteer team. FLN takes a ‘strengths-based’ approach to our work. That is, we understand that learning is dynamic and complex; that people learn in different ways; and that by identifying and working on the foundation of skills and knowledge a person already has, they can strengthen that foundation as well as acquire new knowledge and skills. This approach also applies to our volunteers, aiming to draw on their strengths as well as fostering new skills. Our volunteer program promotes collaboration, learning, personal growth and connection. We believe by working side by side and sharing our strengths we can build a more united Fitzroy community.
We. are currently taking a break from Volunteer Recruitment due to COVID-19, please contact Ruby@fln.org.au for any queries.
